About Us

Katybugs & Butterflies Foundation, Inc. was created in honor of Katy Whaley and in memory of Amanda Mauppin, two cancer warriors in Grayson County. The fight and courage displayed in their fights against childhood cancer inspired our drive to join the fight and offer assistance to those in our community who are affected.

Katybugs & Butterflies Foundation, Inc. is a local non-profit that assists families within the area who have been affected by childhood cancer. Through a variety of services, our organization strives to assist our warriors and their families in any way we can & create a community for them to lean on.

We want to assist families with much-needed financial help during treatment. Our communities were supportive of us during our battles, and we would like to offer the same. We serve families in Grayson and Fannin counties. If your family or a family you know is facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis and they live in our area of service, please reach out to us.
